Any adult of good character and community standing who resides or has community interests in the City of Meridian or the areas adjacent is eligible to become a member of the Downtown Optimist Club of Meridian.

If you would like to join The Downtown Optimist Club of Meridian, please click the link above to download our membership application, then print the form and fill it out and bring it along with an application fee of $15.00 to one of our regular meetings to submit it for approval.

The application fee is payable to Optimist International.

Regular Member Dues are $90.00 per quarter and include your meal every Tuesday!

Downtown Optimist Club members are active members of the local community and we are always on the look-out for new ways we can assist youth achieve whatever they can dream.

We are part of Optimist International, an association of more than 3,000 Optimist Clubs around the world dedicated to "Bringing Out The Best In Kids."

How Can I Get Involved?

To become a member, just visit one of our meetings and express your interest in joining.

Better yet, download our member application, fill it out and bring it with you to a meeting. We are always looking for people who want to give back to their community and enjoy socializing with like-minded individuals.
